Self Portrait Propaganda Poster

For my propaganda poster, I wanted to choose a topic that is very important to me, LGBTQ rights. As time goes on, the world becomes more accepting of the members within the community, but there's still so much room for improvement. With the recent discussions in Government regarding women's rights and abortion, LGBTQ individuals fall under a dangerous category as well. People that simply live their own lives cause such an uproar in society, and it is truly disheartening. Florida's "Don't Say Gay" bill is also a huge step back, and honestly installs fear into me because I am a gay man who goes to college in Florida. Unfortunately, I'm a personal victim of homophobia, just as almost every other gay person is as well. These are the reasons why I chose my topic and why I stand strong for this movement and that will never change. LOVE IS LOVE <3

Original Sketch:
My original sketch turned out pretty different than my final project. I originally started out with wanting to do a rainbow glitch effect over my eyes, but over time I realized that I actually wasn't in love with the idea and wanted my eyes to be seen in the project. The rainbow circles behind me represent the gradients I used in the final project using Illustrator. I was happier with how the gradients ended up in my final project than the original sketch. Overall, the original concept of my project is a pretty cool one.

Selfie:
This is my original selfie I took for the project, there's not really much to it so I won't speak too much about it.

Self Portrait:
I couldn't get the AI picture by itself, it would only stay as the original picture just covering my face, but here is the self portrait I created in Illustrator. I am very proud of myself for this project seeing as I struggled a lot with the coding project. I enjoyed Illustrator much more than I did Dreamweaver.
