Personally, I've never used Photoshop before besides I think once or twice in my freshman year of high school. So, if I did have any knowledge on the platform, it's definitely long gone by now. With the help of these tutorials, the process of using Photoshop will hopefully be easier for me and any other beginners in class.

  For my propaganda poster, I wanted to choose a topic that is very important to me, LGBTQ rights. As time goes on, the world becomes more accepting of the members within the community, but there's still so much room for improvement. With the recent discussions in Government regarding women's rights and abortion, LGBTQ individuals fall under a dangerous category as well. People that simply live their own lives cause such an uproar in society, and it is truly disheartening. Florida's "Don't Say Gay" bill is also a huge step back, and honestly installs fear into me because I am a gay man who goes to college in Florida. Unfortunately, I'm a personal victim of homophobia, just as almost every other gay person is as well. These are the reasons why I chose my topic and why I stand strong for this movement and that will never change.
